    On a beautiful summer evening in Battersea Park, 346 runners crossed the finish line in our final 5K of the season.

    Thomas O Neill came in first in 15:18 followed by Max Rose and william de Cothi.

    Hannah Pullen was the first woman in 16:41 followed by Alex Lane and Anna Lawson.

    Henry Olsen from the Faroe Islands attempted to beat the Vet 60 national record for Denmark, and missed it by a couple of seconds, finishing in 17.07. Well done Henry!

    We welcomed runners from Canada, The Netherlands, Sweden, France, Scotland, Ireland and many more nations. Thank you all for participating in our Sri Chinmoy Races, and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

    239 teams turned up for the annual Sri Chinmoy Battersea Relays to create yet another memorable evening.

    Woking Eastsiderz were the first team home in a team time of 13:32, Martin Sutherland (4.20), Andrew Moore (4:33) and John Hutchins (4:37).

    Peter Chambers on team Fulham Highgate Kent United ran the fastest mile in 4:17.

    The first 'Mixed' team to finish were MAK RC in 14:59, Kieran Sheehy (4:52), Michael Haverty (5:00) and Amie Walker (5:07).

    The first Womens team to finish were HERC Ladies A in 15:34, Ruby Carter (4:56), Chelsea Spanoudakis (5:18) and Eloise Davies (5:19).

    As the hot summer temperatures took a little dip and in a gusty wind, the Kangaroo Hop 5K produced excellent results.

    Kurt Wilkinson crossed the finish line first in 14:54 followed by Charlie Sandison in 14:56.

    Molly Smith was the first woman, finishing in 16:32. One second behind her was Elizabeth Apsley.

    Congratulations to all the runners.

    On a perfect summer evening, 293 runners completed the five kilometre course in Battersea Park. Congratulations to the lead runner, Julian Gregersen, who came all the way from the Faroe Islands to try and break his country's 5K record. He came close, finishing in 15:05.

    Alex Lane won the Womens race in 16:55.

    Congratulations to everyone who competed.

    Congratulations to everyone who competed on Tuesday evening, with a massive Congrats to our new British Record holder for Women's Vet 60 5K, Clare Elms. She broke the record by 2 seconds, finishing in a stunning 18:20. Seyfu Jamaal impressed everyone again with a super swift 14:31 to take victory, whilst Adedeji Oluwatosin set a new PB with 14:54 taking second place. Helen Gaunt stormed to 16:40 placing first woman. SLH juniors performed fantastically with Gabriella Booth placing first girl U16 and Wilfred Hughes first boy U16 in an impressive 16:51.

    On another wonderful summer morning, with a gentle mist of rain in the air, 228 runners completed the Green Space 10K course.

    Liam White was first in 31:01. Amy Clements was the first woman in 34:18.

    David Moorekite ran a speedy 54:45 to break the Vet 80 course record.

    On a glorious summer evening in Battersea Park, with temperatures just dipping below 30 degrees Centigrade, 194 teams turned up to compete in the 3 x 1 mile relay.

    The winning team were the Thames Hare & Hounds "Academicals" who came home in 13.25. Paddy Roddy ran the fastest mile - 4.23 - with his teammates running 4.30 (Jacob Brockmann) and 4.32 (Macgregor Cox).

    The winning Womens team were Hells Belles, completing the 3 miles in 15.21. The team members were Imogen Wolsey, who ran the fastest Womens time of 5.00 accompanied by Stephanie Hewitt (5.09) and Mimi Corden-Lloyd (5.12).

    The winning MIXED team were Clapham Chasers 8 who finished in 15.25, Luke Triccas (4.39), David Taylor (4.52), and Eleanor Andrews (5.54).

    London Frontrunners 17 won the Vet 50 category with Robert Dufton (5.15), Shane Patrick Cullinan (5.50) and Roger Kennedy (6.03).

    West 4 Swinging 60s won the Vet 60 category in 19.56 with Jason Drake (6.00), Peter Hall (6.08) and Jon Scott-Francis (7.48).

    The Surrey Boys won the Under 16 category in a scorching 13.59, with Harry Klein (4.35), Tom Mythen (4.38) and Daniel Orbell (4.46).

    Our final 5K race of the summer attracted 371 runners.

    Callan Moody from New Zealand crossed the finish line first in 14:52 followed by Nick bester in 15:07.

    Nineteen year old Sophie Magson was the first woman in 16:45 followed by Helen Gaunt in 16:49.

    Christopher Greenwood finished in a very impressive 15:19 to win the Mens Vet 50 category, setting a new course record!

    Maggie Statham-Berry broke our decade-old W Vet 70 course record with a fantastic 24:53.

    Eleven year old Noah Liborg ran another great race finishing in 19:35.

    Congratulations to Hoai Phuong Vu who came all the way from Vietnam to attend her daughter's graduation and completed the course in 29:33.

    Thank you to all the runners who competed in this series of 5K races.

    On a rainy summer evening, 367 runners participated in the Sri Chinmoy Kangaroo Hop 5K.

    Ugur Altan was first in 15:11. Jenny Bannerman was first woman in 17:18.

    On a wonderful warm summer evening, 300 runners completed the Dashing Deer 5K in Battersea Park.

    Jack Ramm was the winner in 14:46 followed a second later by Nick Bester.

    Lucy Reid, who holds the women's course record, was first woman in 16:16, followed by Elizabeth Apsley (16:57) and Helen Gaunt (16:58).

    Andy Bond ran a fast 15:56 to win the Vet 50 race.

    Congratulations to sisters Darcy-Mae (20:22) and Gabriella Booth (21:00), our under 16 women and Aaron Morrell (19:42) and Noah Liborg (20:26) our under 16 men.

    A special thank you to our friends from South Carolina, mother and daughter Wendy and Sophia Homeyer, who completed the race in what they would consider 'cooling temperatures'.

    On a cool overcast summer evening, 310 runners arrived in Battersea park for the first of the Sri Chinmoy 5K summer evening races.

    Seyfu Jamal broke the course record by two seconds, a record he set last year. His time was 14:12. Nick Bester also managed to get under 15 minutes with 14:56.

    Molly smith won the womens race in 16:45, shadowed by Helen Gaunt who finished one second later.

    Our next race is the Dashing Deer 5K on 25th June. See you all there.

    On a rainy cold Saturday morning, 194 intrepid runners turned up to run the Mad March 10K.

    Charlie Sandison crossed the finish line first in 31:32, followed by Rui Yong Soh in 32:03.

    The first woman was Stephanie Hewitt in 35:42 followed by Jade Dos Santos in 37:58.

    It was great to see everyone at our first London Sri Chinmoy race in 2024.

    On a chilly winter's morning, Kurt Wilkinson was the first runner to cross the finish line (31:43) followed closely by James Wootton (31:46).

    Lucy Reid was the first woman in 33:36.

    Pam Clarke broke the course record in the Vet 70 Ladies category, finishing in an excellent 51:59.

    On a chilly Saturday morning under a blue sky, 195 runners completed the Golden Leaf 10K.

    Oliver Prior crossed the line first in 31:46. Anya Culling was the first woman in 34:08. We saw a new Vet70 course record set by Ron Cattle who clocked a very impressive 42:25.

    With a fine mist in the air and relatively cool temperatures 400 runners gathered on the start line for the Sri Chinmoy Kangaroo Hop 5K.

    Nick Bester was the winner in 15:06, followed by Matthew Rallison (15:12) and Rui Yong Soh (15:15).

    Jessica Saunders was the first woman in 16:47, followed by Rebecca Bunting (17:14) and Felicity Harrison (17:15).

    Congratulations to Koji Miyazaki of Aldershot who broke the Vet 60 record for the second time this season, with 17:36.

    Thirteen year old Luca Moloney Pedro ran a very fast 18:10 and congratulations to sixteen year old Evelyn Peters from Oregon, USA who ran a PB of 20:21.

    That completes our summer series of races. We hope to see you all in the autumn for the Golden Leaf 10K and the Grizzly Bear 10K.

    On a relatively cool morning with intermittent showers, 161 runners completed the Sri Chinmoy Green Space 10K in Battersea Park.

    Seyfu Jamaal broke the course record by 28 seconds and finished in 29:13. Eliza Hawthorn was the first woman in 35:49.

    Among the participants were runners from as far away as Malta and Mexico. Congratulations to everyone!

    Best Vibes LFG! were the winners in 13:41.06.

    While the rest of Europe was melting in high temperatures, conditions were perfect in Battersea park for the Silver Starling 5K.

    Seyfu Jamaal crossed the finish line first in a new course record: 14:14. Adam Millbery was second (15:16) and Neil Wilson was third (15:18).

    Rebecca Bunting was the first woman in 17:17, followed by Imogen Amos (17:30) and Bryony Proctor (17:33).

    Harry Collins-Smith aged 12 ran an incredible 17:53.

    On a warm and overcast evening, 325 runners completed the Sri Chinmoy Dashing Deer 5K in Battersea Park.

    Nick Bester won the race in 14:55, followed by James Hurrell (15:15) and Morgan Roberts (15:19).

    Two women broke the course record: Lucy Reid was first woman in 16:00 followed by Rose Harvey in 16:06.

    Our annual 3 x 1 mile relay is on July 25th this year.

    Seyfuu Jamal stormed around the 2 laps in Battersea Park to win in 14:35.

    Anya Culling was the first woman in 16:51.

    New age-best course records were set by Mark Symes - MV50 in 16:09, and Koji Miyazaki - MV60 in 17:55

    There are three more Tuesday evening 5K races this summer and places are filling up fast. On July 25th is our annual 3 x 1 mile Relay race.
