    Self Transcendence Grand Prix Series

    oxfordrace.jpg

Despite windy conditions the final 4 mile race of the Grand Prix Series produced some very good times. Of particular note was Christe Finke (visiting from USA) setting a new female course record with a very good time of 25.01.

Congratulations to the winners in the Grand Prix series. In the senior men Tony Madison finished top after gaining points in all the races. In the Vet category Paul Skip won, Paul also won 3 of this years races outright. In the hotly contested Super Vet category Dave Ponting proved a decisive winner. The Senior women was won by Andrea Search and the Vet Women by Andrea Laczik.

Self Transcendence Race 27th June 2005

It was another close race with many runners improving on their previous times. There were a record 9 sub 13 minute times. Paul Skip did just enough to reclaim top spot and well done to Tony Merritt   and Andrew Hope who improved by (+54 seconds and +37 respectively. Attached is the target times for next week and the provisional Grand Prix standings.(Hopefully I won't make any mistakes with all the maths that is flying around. )
