
On a clear and crisp autumn day 214 runners crossed the finish line on the fast course in Battersea Park. Tony Payne ran a brave race out front to win in 31.47. Lisa Rooney was the first Lady in, in 39.11. Congratulations to everyone!

Congratulations to all our runners this morning. On a perfect Autumn morning Phil Dickens of Cambridge Harriers lead the field and finished in 57.31. The women's winner was Alison Bryant-Smith from Serpentine in 64.14.
There were perfect conditions this evening - it was a cool, still summer evening. Olivier Le Polain won the race in 15.35 with Mark Worringham on his shoulder finishing in 15.38. Steph McCall was the outright leader in the Women's race, crossing the finish line in 16.37. This is the last of our summer series of races. Our next race is a 10K at 8AM on Saturday 10th September. On a drizzly evening in Battersea Park the 2 mile race course was broken - and broken in style. The record had been 9.32. Adam Kirk-Smith came flying in to the finish in 9.21. Congratulations to Adam!!!!
A good field of 109 runners completed the Sri Chinmoy 10K race. On a cool summer's morning John Franklin won the race in 32.51 and Jen Elkins won the Women's race in 36.44. Congratulations to all runners!
On a beautiful summer evening an overwhelming 116 teams signed up for the Sri Chinmoy Relay. Congratulations to London Heathside A (Andrew Brooker, Charles Hardy and Adam Kirk-Smith) who won in a time of 13.37 - just sixteen seconds outside the course record. The Bridge Plank Superwomen won the Womens race in 16.21 - congratulations to Rebecca Piggott, Leigh James and Rebecca Bunting.
Many thanks and Congratulations to all the runners who raced our 1 mile relay with such determination and enthusiasm, and cheered on their team mates with gusto. You created a memorable night. On a beautiful summer's evening 169 runners completed the 5K course. Chris Thomas came in first in 16:11 and Stephanie Davis came flying in with 17:31 to win the Ladies race. Congratulations to all runners!
It has been a wonderful week of summer weather. 101 runners completed the course today. Peter Lighting came in first in 33:55. David Annetts won the Vet 50 category and came in 7th overall. Jessica Rosa won the Ladies race in 39:46. Congratulations to all the runners!

While Manchester United and Crystal Palace were warming up to compete for FA Cup glory, a more intense competition was taking place between Ben Johnson and Daniel Gaffney in Battersea Park. It was an overcast summer's day as 108 runners completed the Sri Chinmoy 10K race. Daniel Gaffney crossed the line first in 32.18. Sarah Kingston was the first lady in 37.37. Congratulations to all the runners. Our next race is an evening 5K on Monday 6th June, followed by a 10K on Saturday 11 June 8am. See you all soon!
On a clear sunny Spring morning we held our first 10 Mile race in 2016. Well done to all the competitors!
Our 2016 season of races began on a clear crisp morning. 139 runners completed the course. Chris Greenwood came in first in31.56 followed by Elliot Robinson in 32.24. Hannah Viner won the Ladies Race in 36.34. Congratulations to Martyn and Rachel Annetts who won the Vet 50 races. Our next race is a 10 Mile race on April 2nd starting at the earlier time of 8.00am. We look forward to seeing you there!
Our final race of 2015 started in wintry showers. Matt Gunby, Kevin Quinn and Andrew Greenleaf set out at a blistering pace. Matt won the race in 31.26. Helen Palmer won the Ladies race in 36.28. Several trophies were not picked up - if you were in the top 7 men or women, top 3 men or women over 50, top 2 men or women over 60, or top man over 70 you can pick up your trophy at Run and Become, 4a Eccleston Street, SW1W 9LN from Tuesday 24th November to 8th December 2015. Well done to all the runners for braving the cold conditions. We look forward to seeing you all in 2016.
A mild cloudy morning in Battersea Park saw 144 runners complete the 10K. Mark Hobbs ran alone out at the front and won in 34.04. Meriel Holden ran a strong race to win the Ladies in 39.39. We only have one more race in 2015 - a 10K on Saturday 21st November at 8.30 am. Congratulations to all the runners.
A beautiful autumn morning saw 129 runners exert themselves round Battersea Park. Most had smiles on their faces, everyone did brilliantly.
Our final Monday evening race was another 3 x 1 mile relay which attracted 44 teams. Three men made the journey all the way from Lancaster and Morecambe to win in a time of 14.25.
