Sri Chinmoy Tri Club & SwimBikeRun
In 2022 we were thrilled to walk away with the British Triathlon award for best GO TRI event in the south west, and we've been part of the GO TRI initiative since it was first dreamt up years ago as being in some way the "Park Runs of triathlon". OK, they may not be free like the Park Runs but just like those popular weekend 5k runs, they encourage newcomers to have a go at a sport that can be life-transforming. As of 2023 the GO TRI scheme has been superseded by the bigger and better SwimBikeRun programme which features many different ways to get into multi-sport and triathlon.
Try-a-Tri Tips
For those who sign up to our Try-a-Tri the regular emails with tips and answers to the most frequent newbie-triathlete questions are by all accounts a big help in getting ready for their first race. We'll be uploading the Tips emails here for everyone to take a look and find out about the rules & kit requirements of SwimBikeRun-MINI events.
