The final race of the grand prix, but there will be one more race in two weeks time.
Let me know any issues from results and grand prix standings. We can take a few more entries for last race of season, both main race (2miles) and junior 1 mile race. Just drop me an email.
The second race in the grand prix series, saw another good turnout, slightly warmer weather and a change in position at the top with Matthew Lock (Witney RR) (1st - 15.15) proving slightly quicker over the longer distance than last race winner Max Cunningham (Witney RR) (15.52) in 2nd place. 1st place lady was Jamie Garry 20.09 (Oxford City AC). Last week's winner Harriet Howard (Witney RR) was 2nd place in 20.33.
It is all to play for with the last race in the Grand Prix series in two weeks time
Note: If tied on points
(some GP positions are currently tied on points, but I will apply above criteria after 3rd races)
The first race of the year was run in cool, but dry conditions. 114 finishers. 1st overall was Max Cunningham of Witney Road Runners, narrowly beating last year's series champion Matthew Lock. In the U/14, first male athlete was Thomas Egerton (Abingdon) (12.31), and first female U/14 was Hester Pinnell (Oxford City) 17.00.
