    Self Transcendence Points

Additional points can also be gained for beating previous race times

In race number 2 June 27th.
Points will be awarded for improving on a runner's time in the previous race.

    Improvement >0.0 sec = 1 point

    Improvement > 10 seconds = 2 points

    Improvement > 20 seconds = 3 points.

In The   Event of   a   tie

    1. Fastest runner in the   4 mile race
    2. Fastest runner in the 3 mile race

Confused?- Just run fast! You'll have a good chance of getting some points.

Self Transcendence Race 27th June 2005

It was another close race with many runners improving on their previous times. There were a record 9 sub 13 minute times. Paul Skip did just enough to reclaim top spot and well done to Tony Merritt   and Andrew Hope who improved by (+54 seconds and +37 respectively. Attached is the target times for next week and the provisional Grand Prix standings.(Hopefully I won't make any mistakes with all the maths that is flying around. )
