



With seven races completed and the month of June coming to an end, we have 6 more races and the destination is on the horizon.
Ankurika from Austria was the first woman in the Cheerfulness race - and rumour has it that she is very cheerful about the results!
Sarankhuu from Mongolia was the race winner in 18:29.
Nayak from Seattle in the USA is back after being absent in last week's race, and is unchallenged and victorious in the over 80 category!

110 runners completed the Courage 5K.

This week the 5K race was won by Sarankhuu Jargal who is 27 years old. In second place was Laurence Duffy who is 60 years old. Laurence ran his 5K in our Sri Chinmoy London Battersea Park 5K race series which is up and running again. Ankurika Hammerl was the first woman this week.

Dhavala Stott from Scotland took first place this week in 19:36.

120 runners completed the race this week, showing their DETERMINATION to keep running!


Our first Summer Worldwide Race attracted 98 runners. This is the first of 13 races in our Sri Chinmoy 5K Grand Prix.

Congratulations to all the runners who managed to run every one of the 13 races. You are real Superheroes. Many runners had to forge on through difficult weather conditions.
Congratulations to everyone who managed to qualify for the Grand Prix - running at least 10 races.

The last race in our GRAND PRIX 2 Miles. Congratulations to all runners!

The penultimate race of the Grand Prix was won by Sadanand Magee from Ireland. Dhavala Stott from Scotland was the first woman.


Congratulations to Sarankhuu Jargal (left) who managed to do his 2 mile race shortly after winning the Sri Chinmoy Midnight Marathon in Canberra, Australia in 2 hours 58 minutes. Congratulations to Prachar Stegeman (right) who organised the Sri Chinmoy 48 Hour Track Festival in Canberra.

128 runners completed the DYNAMISM 2 mile race.
The winner of the race, Samalya Shäfer from Berlin, ran 10:01 after running 2:29:51 at the Dresden marathon on Sunday. He says that the 2 mile races really helped and inspired him to achieve this excellent time. He apologises for his slow 2 mile time this week of 10:01 as he is still limping after his Herculean marathon effort!!!! Well done Samalya!
Over 100 runners are still eligible for the Grand Prix (running at least 10 of the 13 races). 59 of those runners are on course for SUPER HERO status (running all 13 races).

This week we had a very impressive win in the W60 category - Nina Zanabazar from Mongolia in 12:51. Congratulations!
Our celebration of Sri Chinmoy's first marathon in Chico, California in 1979 attracted runners from around the globe.
There were 3 races: Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay.
Congratulations to Dhavala Stott from Edinburgh, Scotland who came first overall in the marathon.
The Half Marathon was won by Samalya Shaeffer from Berlin, Germany and Helene Beyer from Hamburg, Germany was the first lady.
The relay was won by The Mongolian Boys Team. The first ladies relay team 'May the 4S be with you' are from Scotland.

119 runners completed the Cheerfulness Race this week.

123 runners completed the COURAGE 2 Mile race.
We are half way through the race series. To compete in the GRAND PRIX, runners need to complete 10 races. Many runners are on course to complete all 13 races and achieve Super Hero status!

This week 129 runners completed the course. Many brave runners in Europe, North America and Mongolia are running in tough conditions and freezing temperatures.
