The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-World virtual race series
A series of 'run from home' races in June, with runners from all over the world!
About the event
At this challenging time our worldwide Sri Chinmoy Races team are happy to present:
- A SERIES OF VIRTUAL 2 MILE RACES on Mondays in June
- one VIRTUAL 10K RACE on June 21st
- one 3 x 1 MILE RELAY on June 29th
Run your own race, on a route of your choosing, adhering to Government guidelines on social distancing and safety. Measure your run on your own device.
How to Enter:
2 MILE RACES: You can run your 2 miles anytime on the Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Register for each race before 5pm each Monday (GMT) and submit your time on Eventrac.co.uk before midnight on the Monday. Registration is free of charge, by using the below links:
- June 1st: The Pacific Ocean 2 Miles
- June 8th: The Southern Ocean 2 Miles
- June 15th: The Atlantic Ocean 2 Miles
- June 22nd: The Indian Ocean 2 Miles
10K RACE: this 10K must be run on Sunday 21st June and time submitted by Midnight GMT. Register before 9:00 Sunday 21st June.
- Register here: June 21st: The Sri Chinmoy Midsummer 10K
3x1 mile RELAY: Form a team of 3 people. Each member of the team can run their 1 mile anytime on the Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Register for the relay by 5pm on Monday 29th June (GMT) and submit your time on Eventrac.co.uk before midnight on the same Monday. Registration is free of charge.

2020 Jun 1stThe Pacific Ocean 2 Miles
Our first race in June was a virtual 2 mile race - The Pacific Ocean 2 Miles.
125 runners participated with Andy Bond crossing the virtual finish line first in 10:07, followed by Robert Deacon (10:34) and Sadanand Magee (10:53).
Dhavala Stott was the first woman in 12:16, followed by Amy Kerr (12:56) and Claire Houston (12:59).
We had two under 16 runners this week, Jonas Lepic (23:42) and Myla Love (20:41) both age 9. Congratulations!

2020 May 27thGrand Prix Results Virtual 5k April May 2020
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Sri Chinmoy Oneness World Virtual 5k series. We had participants from all around the world, representing most of the continents that the races were dedicated to.
A total of 169 runners took part in 4 or more races to qualify for the Grand Prix. The results show each runners time for the whole series, however the Grand Prix is scored using times of the four fastest races.
There was also a Grand Prix for members of the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team which had 79 participants and those results are shown on a separate pdf.
We hope you've enjoyed the series and wish you good health and happy running. Get ready for the new series in June.
2020 May 25thThe Europe 5K
Our final race of the Virtual 5K series saw 209 competitors cross the finish line.
Stephen Fabes took first place in 16:19, followed by Marc Bromwich (16:53) and Andy Bond (16:57).
Megan De Silva won the Ladies race in 19:23, followed by Suzy Whatmough (19:25) and Claire Houston (19:47).
