Tejvan organises short-distance running and cycling races for the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in his home city of Oxford. He is also a very good cyclist, having won the National hill climb championships in 2013 and finished 3rd in the National 100 Mile Time Trials in 2014.
Results (PDF Download)A bit of light rain didn't deter the intrepid runners of the Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence Series. After a short mention for the 39th anniversary of the Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile, the runners set off. Matthew Lock, multiple winner of these events, had good competition from 2nd place Thomas Rolf, but held of the challenge to win in 16.02. First place woman was Ashley Burnell of Witney Road Runners in a good time of 20.02. Katie Mellor of Abbey Running was in 2nd place, 20.43.
