BIG THANKYOU to everyone involved in Friday nights race. Runners, officials.voluteers, support crews, family and friends, all helped create a great atmosphere.

- Entries will go live on Entry Central, early in March 2027.
- The Sri Chinmoy 5km road race at Silverknowes is acknowledged as one of the most competitive, in depth, short road races in the Scottish calendar.
- Scottish Athletics 5k Road Race Championships event will be applied for.
- Minimum age 15 on race day.

RACE INFORMATION
- The next race is set for a Friday early in May 2027
- Scottish championship status will be applied for.
- Put the date in your diary
- Entries will be going live on Entry Central Early in March 2027.
- The Sri Chinmoy 5km road race at Silverknowes is acknowledged as one of the most competitive, in depth, short road races in the Scottish calendar.
- Minimum age 15 on race day.
Whatever your standard, the momentum of this event from the start line to the finish line seems to bring the best out of everyone and gets the adrenaline flowing. Whether you are challenging for national medals,or intent on lowering that recent or longstanding PB, this race will offer the opportunity that you are looking for.
Start: Silverknowes Esplanade, by the Boardwalk Beach Club, 50 Marine Drive EH4 5ES
- Out and back flat 5k course along the banks of the River Forth
- Perfect for fast times and PBs
- Tented facilities for registration and changing. Come ready to run if you can
- Portable toilets
- Boardwalk Cafe open for refreshments
- Water/paper cups will be available at the finish. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BOTTLE/CUP TO ELIMINATE WASTE

- Chip timing from Chris Shepherd at Perfect timing with his trademark personal timing handouts
- Tents/ezy-ups for changing. No showers. Come ready to run if possible
- Portable toilets
- Boardwalk cafe open for simple refreshments and hot drinks

- trophies to first 3 men and women under 40
- trophies to 1st M/F U20 Jnr; 1st M/F U17 Jnr; 1st M/F Vets: 40, 50, 60, 70
- As per tradition, there will also be Pineapples!
- Scottish Athletic Championships event.
- Scottish Athletic Championship medals for 1st 3 in following categories:
- Senior M/W; Junior U20 M/W; M/W O/40; 0/50; 0/60; 0/70.
- SA team medals to 1st 3 M/W Senior and J U20 teams.
- A master or a junior can count in a senior team
- No Masters team medals
- No U/17 Championship medals and U/17 not eligible for SA Junior medals.
